Rawalpindi, Dhu-AlHijjah 16, 1438, Sep 7, 2017, SPA -- Pakistani Defense Minister Khurram Dastgir Khan received here today Saudi ambassador to the Islamic Republic of Pakistan Nawaf bin Saeed Al-Malki. During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Islamic Republic of Pakistan and ways of enhancing them in all fields. "Pakistan is keen to enhance fraternal relations with the Kingdom," the Pakistani minister said, stressing that relations between the two countries are historic and based on mutual respect and trust. According to a statement issued by the Pakistani Defense Ministry, he added that the China Pakistan Economic Corridor is a strategic project where the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the friendly countries in the Middle East will benefit of this project in order to enhance regional linkage and trade.
