Amman, 11 Dhu-AlQa'dah,1438 AH, 03 August,2017 , SPA -- The former Jordanian Minister of Culture Dr. Faisal Al-Rifaou said that the procrastination by Iranian authorities and their refusal to complete the procedures related to the investigation into the incidents of the storming of the Embassy of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in Tehran and its consulate in Mashhad and its refusal to a Saudi delegation to enter its territory to follow up the circumstances of the incident represent a violation of international laws agreed upon between countries. He said in a press statement that the Kingdom by virtue of its commitment to the moderate Islamic approach has so far overlooked the aggressive practices carried out by Iran against it. He added that Iran has always sought to stir up strife and unrest in many Arab countries in the context of its declared efforts on what it called the export of the revolution, despite the commitment of the neighboring Arab countries to the principle of non-interference in the internal affairs of the countries, but the government of Tehran has worked to undermine internal security in many Arab countries like Lebanon, Iraq, Syria and Yemen. Dr. Al-Rifaou called on the international community to expose Iran's aggressive practices in this regard and force Iran to implement international resolutions on the protection of embassies, calling on Arab governments and peoples to stand by the Kingdom in confronting Iran's ongoing attempts to stir up strife and unrest in Arab countries. -- SPA 16:09 LOCAL TIME 13:09 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w459443
