Jeddah, Ramadan 14, 1438, June 09, 2017, SPA -- The official spokesman of the Border Guard said that it thwarted an attempt to smuggle nearly half a ton of hashish through the island of Farasan in Jazan region. The spokesman said that at ten and a half on Thursday, 13/9/1438 H., citizens reported suspicion in a naval vehicle which approached the island's shore before returning to where it came. By combing its stopping site, 485 kilograms of cannabis were found hidden under trees.
