Custodian of Two Holy Mosques sends cable of condolence and sympathy to Afghan President

Jeddah, Ramadan 05, 1438 H., May 31, 2017, SPA -- The Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud has sent a cable of condolence and sympathy to President Dr. Ashraf Ghani Ahmadzai of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan following the news of a terrorist explosion that ripped the diplomatic enclave in capital Kabul, it was reported here today. In his cable, the monarch said "we have received with profound pain and sadness the news of a terrorist explosion that took place in the Diplomatic Quarter in Kabul, killing and injuring dozens. Condemning this criminal act, we share Your Excellency, and the Afghani people the pains of this calamity, expressing profound condolence and sincere sympathy on behalf of the people and government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and in our own name to Your Excellency, the families of the victims and the people of Afghanistan, appealing to Allah Almighty to shed his mercy on the victims and wishing the injured a quick recovery and evade the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan and its friendly people any harm or evil". --SPA 01:34 LOCAL TIME 22:34 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w418700
