On the war in Yemen, Al-Jubeir stressed that it is not a hostile war with the brothers in Yemen, pointing out the role of the previous Gulf initiatives that sought to transfer power to President Abderbo Mansour Hadi, indicating that Yemen is currently in transition through the national dialogue which includes all parties in Yemen in all regions, tribes and ethnic factions, and working on a political solution through a return to the negotiating table, and the implementation of the outcome of the national dialogue in Yemen. Al-Jubeir said, "We have made some mistakes, we admit these mistakes, we investigate them, but we have been accused of things we did not commit. We were accused of attacks and bombings that we did not commit and did not happen at all. They accused us of blowing up the port of Hodeidah; but, the Houthis are the ones who did this and other things that we did not do. The picture that some are trying to portray is that we are committing hostile acts there and portray the Houthis as victims and that we are wrong, but they are the ones who are trying to launch intercontinental missiles on our country, and they have violated thousands of times the cease-fire and other things and we have made more than 70 agreements." Al-Jubeir highlighted Saudi aid to Yemen and stressed that the Houthis are the ones who are preventing aid. Al-Jubeir added, "We do not have hostility towards the Yemenis, but we would like Iran to stop its support and alliance with Hezbollah and others and its support for the militias. We appreciate President Trump's visit and his support for our efforts in Yemen. --SPA 01:31 LOCAL TIME 22:31 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w409352
