Riyadh, Sha'ban 20, 1438, May 16, 2017, SPA -- Further to the statement published on 16/8/1438H, the Security Spokesperson stated that a security patrol was under RPG attack by terrorist elements inside Al-Masoura district in Qatif province after midnight on Tuesday 20/8/1438H, resulting in the martyrdom of First Class Private/ Waleed Gothian Dawi Al-Shibani, an associate of the private emergency forces, and the injury of five others, who were immediately rushed to hospital. The incident is under follow-up of the security authorities, he said. In a statement to Saudi Press Agency (SPA), the Interior Ministry stressed that the terrorist elements using of such projectiles or other explosive devices and landmines to impede the development projects in Al-Masoura districtm, attack the laborers and the security men at or in the vicinity of the site are unequivocal indications of their criminality, and thier doing so under instrutions from abroad to carry out such terrorist plans.
