Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques receives number of Islamic figures in Japan

Tokyo, 16 Jumada II 1438 H corresponding to March 15, 2017, SPA -- Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud received at his residence in the Japanese capital Tokyo today, a number of Islamic figures in Japan. During the audience, Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud delivered a speech in which he said that "This blessed meeting with you was preceded by similar meetings over the decades. Before eighty years, the late King Abdulaziz sent a representative to Japan to share with Muslims here the joy of the opening of the Tokyo Mosque in 1938, and these good, blessed meetings are still continuing." The king stated, "We should highlight that Islam calls for tolerance, moderation and fight against extremism and terrorism in all forms and recognize that the challenges faced by the Islamic world require more solidarity among Muslims." The king added, "The kingdom, which is honored by God to serve the Two Holy Mosques, provides its best to serve Islam and is keen to reach out to Muslims around the globe." The king stated, "The Islamic religion is a religion of love and peace that respects human dignity and preserve their rights, and you are the best to represent Islam and Muslims in this friendly country. Imam and preacher of the Arabic Islamic Institute in Tokyo and member of the Muslim Association of Japan Sheikh Saeed Sato delivered a speech in which he expressed sincere thanks and appreciation to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud for its great efforts to serve the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims, visitors and Islam and Muslims in the whole world.
