Riyadh, Jumada I 13, 1438, Feb 10, 2017, SPA -- Sheikh Dr. Abdullah bin Mohammed bin Ibrahim Al Al-Sheikh, Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura, will lead the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation to the 2nd annual meeting of the Arab parliament and the speakers of the Arab parliaments and councils to be held on Saturday at the headquarters of the Secretariat General of the Arab League in Cairo. In a press statement, Dr. Al Al-Sheikh stressed that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, seeks to support and enhance the Arab joint action, particularly in the parliamentary and consultative fields, in order to achieve security, stability and peace in the Arab region, confirming that King Salman also works to prevent interferences committed by some powers in the Arab states' affairs. The Speaker of Majlis Al-Shura pointed out that the 2nd annual meeting of the Arab parliaments will discuss exceptional situations suffered by the Arab world due to the growing phenomenon of terrorism and foreign interferences in the Arab internal affairs.
