Prince Sultan bin Salman Meets with Bosnian and Serbian Joint Delegation

Riyadh, Jumada I 1, 1438, Jan 29, 2017, SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of the General Commission for Tourism and National Heritage, received the joint economic delegation of the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina and the Republic of Serbia. At the outset of the meeting, Prince Sultan bin Salman conveyed greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to the delegation, pointing out to King Salman's keenness of this visit. "This visit will enhance and develop relations in the field of economy. This visit reflects stability and development enjoyed by Bosnia and Serbia. The Saudi Commission for Tourism has a cooperation agreement with Serbia in the fields of tourism and heritage. We will soon sign a cooperation agreement with Bosnia. We are keen to activate and enhance these agreements and constructive cooperation," Prince Sultan bin Salman said. Then, the Republic of Bosnia and Herzegovina's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Trade and Economic Relations Mirko Sarovic delivered a speech in which he thanked Prince Sultan for a warm reception and good hospitality. He lauded a great support provided by the Kingdom during phases of the war as well as phases of reconstruction, stressing that this unified delegation of Bosnia and Serbia is an evidence of ending the crisis. For his part, Serbia's Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications Rasim Ljajic delivered a speech in which he thanked the Saudi Commission for Tourism for a warm hospitality and good reception. "This visit does not only take care of the tourism and investment opportunities, but it is a political and peace message reflecting the region's stability," he said. He appreciates the Kingdom's role in settling peace in the region.
