Dr. Al-Sihaibani lauds King Salman Relief Center role in relief delivery

Riyadh, Rabi'II 13, 1438, January 11, 2017, SPA -- Dr. Saleh bin Hamad Al-Sihaibani, Secretary General of the Arab Organization for Red Crescent and Red Cross, said today that the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia is everyday proving that it is the pioneer of voluntary and philanthropic provider, citing its quick response and field presence in all relief-needed events in the world, the latest of which is the situation at the Turkish Syrian border. In a press statement, Al-Sihaibani said coming to the help of the need across the border has become an integral part of the Saudi people and government fundamentals, laid by the prudent administration, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. Al-Sihaibani said the Kingdom has adopted a full-fledged relief package, including signing of relevant agreements and memorandum of understanding, cooperation and full-support for humanitarian programs, citing the executive program reached between Riyadh-based King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works with the Red Cross and Red Crescent international union, help for the needy in Yemen, the injured being treated in Sudan and Djibouti. --SPA 17:58 LOCAL TIME 14:58 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w310715
