Istanbul, Safar 24, 1438, November 24, 2016, SPA -- At least five people were injured in Adana in southern Turkey Thursday in an explosion outside the regional governor's office, news broadcaster CNN Turk reported, according to dpa. One of the victims was seriously injured. The governor survived the apparent attack. Turkey's minister for EU affairs Omer Celik tweeted that he had spoken with the governor. Television images showed a fire in the building and thick black smoke above. The explosion blew out the windows in the multi-storey building.
