Riyadh, Safar 22, 1438, Nov 22, 2016, SPA -- Security Spokesman of the Ministry of Interior stated that competent security authorities have managed to foil two attempts to smuggle large amounts of narcotics into the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and arrested the involved smugglers. He explained that upon coordination with the concerned authorities in the United Arab Emirates from which the smugglers wanted to smuggle the illicit items into the Kingdom, their attempt to smuggle (3,500,000) narcotic pills of amphetamines hidden professionally in three truck containers was foiled and three involved smugglers (two Syrian nationals and the third from Sri Lanka) were arrested.
