Baku, Safar 17, 1438, Nov 17, 2016, SPA -- President Ilham Aliyev of the Republic of Azerbaijan expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud and the Government of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, commending the depth of strong ties between the Kingdom and Azerbaijan, citing his recent official visit to the Kingdom. This came when he received at the presidential palace here today President of Saudi Press Agency (SPA) and Chairman of 4th News Agencies World Congress, Abdullah bin Fahd Al-Hussein, heads of international news agencies and heads of delegations participating in the 5th News Agencies World Congress currently being held in Baku. The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan also reviewed the importance of the media and the vital role being played by journalists in transfering facts, events and information to serve the interests of humanity.
