London, Muharram 20, 1438, Oct 21, 2016, SPA -- British police arrested a 19-year-old man on terrorism-related charges on Friday after a suspicious package was found on a London underground train. The unidentified man was arrested by counter-terrorism officers "on suspicion of the commission, preparation and instigation of terrorism acts" in north London's Holloway area, dpa quoted the Metropolitan Police as saying in a statement. The police were "keeping an open mind regarding any possible motive" and were not looking for any other suspects, the statement said. The "suspicious item" was found on a train travelling through south-east London on the Jubilee Line on Thursday, it said. The train was held at North Greenwich underground station, which was evacuated while specialist officers carried out a controlled explosion.
