Bangkok, Muharram 9, 1438, Oct 10, 2016, SPA -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the 2nd Asia Cooperation Dialogue Summit in the Thai capital, Bangkok, which began today under the theme "‘One Asia, Diverse Strength" with the participation of leaders of the 33 countries. In his speech to the Summit; he reiterated the Kingdom's support for Asian Cooperation Dialogue's Vision 2030, and its willingness to actively participate in most of the proposed axes to develop this vision into programs and put them into practice, pointing to the consistency of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 with the Asian Vision in the pursuit of a comprehensive and balanced economic growth in all fields. Minister Al-Jubeir also stressed the importance being attached by the international law to the principle of State sovereignty and its immunity from undergoing to the national jurisdiction of any State, pointing out that the adoption of any unilateral legislation undermining this principle is a clear violation of the principles of the international law, warning that this may lead to the adoption of such laws by other nations, causing overwhelming chaos in the international community. --SPA 14:50 LOCAL TIME 11:50 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
