Dubai, Dhu-AlHijjah 20, 1437, Sep 21, 2016, SPA -- Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, the Vice President of the United Arab Emirates, the Premier and Ruler of Dubai ordered to name a main street, in Dubai, after the name of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. King Salman street will be replacing the former name of Safuh street, in Dubai. Sheikh Al Maktum, who officially inaugurated the street, under its new name, said during a ceremony held on the occasion, that the gesture is taking place to express appreciation of King Salman for his pivotal role in supporting causes of the Arab nation and the Islamic Ummah and his honorable stances to consolidate to close Arab ranks and reinforce Gulf cooperation among member states, at all levels, in order to achieve development objectives and regional progress. The gesture took place, in conjunction, with celebration to commemorate the 86th anniversary of the National Day of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. The ceremony was attended by Sheikh Ahmed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum, the Head of Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktum Foundation, Minister of State for Foreign Affairs Dr. Anwar Qurqash and the Saudi Ambassador to the Emirates Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulrahman Al-Bishr and a number of senior, civil and military, officials. King Salman Street, in Dubai, is a vital lifeline, that comprises tourist as well as economic facilities, standing as main landmarks of modern Dubai. Jumeirah Palm Island, is giving to the King Salman Street, which is the host of a lot of hotels and other tourist-related facilities.
