Hajj Channel in Persian-language starts broadcasting

Arafat, Dhu-AlHijjah 09, 1437, September 11, 2016, SPA -- Hajj Channel in Persian-language broadcast by Radio and Television Commission started officially its broadcasting from Makkah Television Center to address pilgrims and visitors speaking Persian-language. The Minister of Culture and Information Dr. Adel bin Zaid Altoraifi said that this channel emanates from the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince Mohammed bin Naif bin Abdulaziz, Deputy Premier and Minister of Interior and Deputy Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Second Deputy Premier and Minister of Defense to broadcast Hajj rituals to speakers of the Persian language in addition to other languages. He pointed out that the channel aims to broadcast the message of Hajj, the eternal meanings of Islam and what is being provided by the Kingdom under the leadership of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques to the Two Holy Mosques, pilgrims and visitors to Persian language speakers whose number is estimated at 130 million all over the world. --More 16:40 LOCAL TIME 13:40 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
