Kuala Lumpur, Dhu-AlHijjah 10, 1437, September 11, 2016, SPA -- Suspected Philippine militants have seized three Malaysian fishermen in Borneo, a senior security official said Sunday, according to dpa. The victims were seized late Saturday off the resort island of Pulau Pom Pom in the eastern state of Sabah, according to regional security chief Wan Abdul Bari Abdul Khalid. Seven suspects boarded the fishing trawler and seized the fishermen at gunpoint, forcing them to transfer into a fast boat that was believed to have sped off to the southern Philippine province of Tawi Tawi, Abdul Bari said. --SPA 14:49 LOCAL TIME 11:49 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
