Jeddah, Dhu-AlQa'dah 22, 1437, Aug 25, 2016, SPA -- OIC Secretary General Iyad bin Ameen Madani has received at his office Zarobiddin Kosimi, Ambassador of the Republic of Tajikistan to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, who presented his credentials to the Secretary General as Representative of Tajikistan to the OIC. During the meeting, the Secretary General commended the desire and initiatives of the Republic of Tajikistan to strengthen relations with the OIC. He reiterated the importance that the OIC attaches to the whole Central Asian region as well as on the need for more political cohesion and economic cooperation among countries in the region. On his part, Ambassador Kosimi reaffirmed his country's continued support to the OIC and its activities.
