Johannesburg, Dhu-AlQa'dah 13, 1437, Aug 16, 2016, SPA -- Three aid workers from the Catholic organization Caritas were kidnapped Tuesday in eastern Congo, while a German journalist was shot in the leg, dpa cited Caritas as saying. The two-vehicle convoy was believed to have been attacked by Rwandan rebels operating in eastern Congo. The rebels shot at the two vehicles. The first one was later found empty, with its three occupants missing. The second, which had a German journalist working for Caritas and a German press officer on board, managed to escape.
