Deputy Shura Speaker receives Bangladeshi parliamentary delegation

Riyadh, Dhu-Al-Qa'dah 05, 1437, August 08, 2016, SPA -- Dr. Mohammed bin Amin Al-Jeffery, Deputy Speaker of the Shura Council, received at his office in Riyadh today a Bangladeshi parliamentary delegation, led by parliamentary opposition leader Raushon Ershad. At the outset of the meeting, Al-Jeffery welcomed the opposition leader of Bangladeshi parliament, wishing her and the accompanying delegation a good stay in the Kingdom. He lauded the visit as part of visits exchange program between senor officials in the two countries that definitely contribute to further pushing bilateral relations to new wider horizons ahead. He praised the distinguished parliamentary relations between the Shura Council and Bangladeshi parliament, confirming the keenness of the Shura Council to enhance this relation in what achieves mutual interests of the two countries and peoples. Dr. Al-Jeffery pointed out to the pioneering role of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdualziz Al Saud in the service of Islam and Muslims and the Kingdom's efforts in the service of the two holy mosques and the guests of Allah Almighty. He briefed the delegation on the march and systems as well as legislative and control role of the Shura Council. For her part, Raushon Ershad expressed happiness to have visited the Kingdom and expressed thanks to and appreciation of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdualziz for the service being rendered by the Kingdom at the Islamic Ummah level, noting the keenness of the Republic of Bangladesh to enhance bilateral relations with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in all fields. During the meeting, the two delegations reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries in all fields and ways to enhance them in a way that benefits the interests of the two sides.
