New York, Shawwal 28, 1437, August 02, 2016, SPA -- The UN Security Council is considering a visit to South Sudan in August, the president of the council said Monday just weeks after fighting erupted in the country struggling to implement a peace agreement, according to dpa. The trip is being considered for August 15-19 and would also include a visit to neighbouring Sudan, said Malaysian ambassador to the UN Ramlan Bin Ibrahim, whose country took over the rotating presidency of the Security Council for the month. The council will make a decision on taking the trip after security assessments have been conducted on the ground. --SPA 03:32 LOCAL TIME 00:32 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
