Riyadh, Shawwal 02, 1437, July 07, 2016, SPA -- The World Islamic Bar Commission condemned suicide terrorist bombings in the city of Al-Medinah Al-Munawah and the provinces of Qatif and Jeddah, in which a number of victims were killed and others injured. The Commission confirmed the innocence of Islam from those criminal acts, which has harvested safe lives and shed innocent blood, noting that these crimes created a serious situation where they did not respect the sanctity of that time nor place nor humanity. The Commission emphasized that the perpetrators of these bombings reached their insolence of the bombing and murder near the Mosque of the Messenger of Allah, peace be upon him, by destroying cities, and killing worshipers in the land of Islam and Muslims. The Commission expressed full solidarity with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia in the face of terrorism aimed at undermining social peace of the Kingdom and destabilize the profile of the Kingdom in Islamic world, calling for the establishment of a global conference that brings together lawyers, religious scholars and politicians to draft a statement and consensus to confront the terrorist threat against Islam and Muslims. -- SPA 19:26 LOCAL TIME 16:26 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
