Riyadh, 23 Ramadan,1437 AH, 28 June,2016 , SPA -- Saudi Food and Drug Authority has decided to lift the temporary ban on importing beef and its products from the United States of America; the meat of cows, goats, sheep and their products from Spain; and beef and its products from Poland. It is worth mentioning that a Royal Decree has authorized the Saudi Food and Drug Authority to lift the temporary ban on the import of bovine meat species from banned countries because of the emergence of mad cow disease in accordance with rules, requirements and mechanisms accredited to the Authority. -- SPA 16:17 LOCAL TIME 13:17 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
