Rescue services spokesman Pawel Frontczak told The Associated Press on Friday that one person was killed and two were injured when a falling tree crushed a car near the central city of Lodz. A crane operator was killed when a wall under construction fell on the crane near Warsaw and a third person died in the north after being hit by a farm building's crumbling wall.
