Jeddah, Sha'ban 15, 1437, May 22, 2016, SPA -- Prime Minister of the Republic of South Korea Hwang Kyo-ahn confirmed that the Saudi Korean relations have, since their establishment in 1962, witnessed increasing and accelerating positive developments, attributing this to the continuing political and economic coordination between the leaderships of the two countries towards all international issues of mutual concern in addition to their firmness, stability and quick growth, noting the economic and investment agreements signed between Saudi and Korean companies in as well as exchange of experience in all fields and organization of economic delegation visits between the two countries. During a meeting he held at Jeddah Chamber of Commerce and Industry as part of his current visit to the Kingdom, the South Korean premier pointed, in the presence of Dr. Majed bin Abdullah Al-Gasbi, the Minister of Commerce and Investment; Adel bin Mohammed Faqih, Minister of Planning; and Riyadh bin Ahmed Al-Mubaraki, Saudi ambassador to Seoul, to the abundance of investment opportunity in the Saudi market which stands on a strong base that would enhance the renaissance-development-associated dealings and what happens in terms of implementation of crucial giant economic projects, calling on the Saudi business community to avail themselves of the Korean experience in the infrastructure, health, human resources, nuclear energy opportunities and the industrial, technological, foodstuffs, textile, machinery, vehicles spare partrs and information technology and security systems industries. Hwang lauded the idea of commercial exhibitions held by the two countries to introduce their products, highlighting the contracts given to Korean companies to implement projects worth SR56 billion. For his part, Dr. Al-Qasbi welcomed the visit of Korea's most senior official to the Kingdom, noting that relations between the two countries are developing amid the determination of the leaderships of the two countries. He said the Kingdom's vision 2030 enhances the keenness of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud to promote its economic reforms and diversify its investment environment, citing the endeavor by his ministry to overcome all difficulties facing investors and facilitating whatever supports commercial and investment cooperation between the two countries. --More 17:48 LOCAL TIME 14:48 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
