35 Islamic countries sign a document in Egypt to renounce violence and racial discrimination

Cairo, Sha'ban 08, 1437, May 15, 2016, SPA -- Egyptian Minister of Awqaf and head of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Dr. Mohammed Mokhtar Gomaa, announced that all ministers, scholars and muftis participating in the 26th conference of the Council, which was held in the Egyptian southern city of Aswan, signed the Egypt document to reject extremism and racial discrimination, thus, sending a message of peace to the whole world to reject extremism. Gomaa pointed out that the Egyptian document declares the rejection of all colors of extremism and terrorism and all forms of racial discrimination on the basis of race, color, religion and uphold human value as a human being, mutual respect and peaceful coexistence, not to link terrorism to Islam and explain that to the whole world of different languages. -- SPA 20:20 LOCAL TIME 17:20 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
