Riyadh, Sha'ban 08, 1437 H., May 15, 2016, SPA -- A foreign employee who reports on a commercial cover-up case will have the right to transfer his sponsorship to another without the consent of his former sponsor, a new regulation co-issued by the ministry of labor and social development and the ministry of commerce and investment said. According to a newly-approved executive regulation of the labor law, the minister or his deputy will have the right to authorize the concerned authority to transfer the service of a foreign employee to another without the approval of his sponsor once he managed to report on a commercial cover-up case provided that he, first, prove his claim and, second, not to be involved in the case. --SPA 19:10 LOCAL TIME 16:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
