Vienna, Rajab 5, 1437, Apr 12, 2016, SPA -- The remains of about 30 Soviet soldiers are being unearthed in a mass grave from World War II after researchers received a hint from a 91-year-old woman, Austrian broadcaster ORF reported Tuesday, dpa reported. Based on the information from this witness, the names of the soldiers were found in Russian archives. Austrian authorities started exhuming their remains last week in St Martin an der Raab, a village close to the Hungarian border. Most of these Red Army soldiers were between 20 and 25 years old and include Russians, Kazakhs, Moldovans and Belarusians, said Peter Sixl of the Austrian war graves organization Black Cross, which is leading the excavation. He had received some 600 queries in the past years from people who were still looking for the remains of fallen relatives, he told ORF. -- SPA 21:45 LOCAL TIME 18:45 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
