Then, the Secretary General of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) Iyad bin Amin Madani, delivered a speech in which he stressed that the meeting has come to provide the will and decision-making, as well as contributing to changing the reality and overcoming the disputes and differences, and give confidence and hope to the peoples waiting for the results of these meetings and their sound and prudent decisions. Madani pointed out in his speech to the great moment of tackling the phenomenon of terrorism, extremism and violence which come into the course of the hate speech of Islam and Muslims (Islamophobia), indicating to the reality of the Palestinian cause, the continued suffering of refugees and the situations in Afghanistan, Syria, Somalia and Yemen, in addition to the sectarian division and economic crises.
