In a statement following the visit, Alaa Yousef, the official spokesman of the Presidency, said that the events that took place during the visit, particularly the signing of numerous agreements and memorandums of understanding covering cooperation fields of common interest have reflected the extent of the keenness of the two countries on solidarity and integration to confront the challenges facing the Arab region in the current phase, including the challenges of terrorism and extremism and the threat against the concept of national state. The spokesman drew the attention to the President of Egypt's assertion that it is of so much importance to follow-up the results of the visit, implement them and build on for further upgrading the relations between the two countries to new horizons and more distinguished levels. --SPA 17:44 LOCAL TIME 14:44 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
