Kuala Lumpur, Jumada II 4, 1437, Mar 13, 2016, SPA -- At least six people drowned when two motorized passenger boats collided in Borneo in eastern Malaysia, dpa cited a local fire and rescue official as saying Sunday. Twenty four other people were rescued in the accident that occurred late Saturday on a river in Penimbawan town in the eastern state of Sabah, about 1,640 kilometres east of Kuala Lumpur, according to district Fire and Rescue chef Mohamad Asnan Led. All six fatalities were women and girls who had attended a wedding celebration, Mohamad Asnan said.
