Manila, Jumada I 21, 1437, March 01, 2016, SPA -- Four people were confirmed killed when a gold-mine tunnel collapsed in the southern Philippines, police said Tuesday, according to dpa. Three more miners were still missing and feared trapped in the 200-metre shaft in Monkayo town in Compostela Valley province, 930 kilometres south of Manila. The tunnel collapsed after a flash flood on Sunday, said Superintendent Jay Dema-ala, the town police chief. "We are still hoping we can locate the three missing and pull them out alive," he said.
