Bahrain's PM Announces Naming a Bahrain's main street after late Prince Saud Al-Faisal

Manama, Jumada I 18, 1437, Feb 27, 2016, SPA -- Bahrain's Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa announced here today naming a main road crossing Al-Jafeer district of Manama, Bahrain, after late Prince Saud Al-Faisal upon directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa of Bahrain in the attendance of Prince Khalid Al-Faisal, Advisor to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and Governor of Makkah Region; and Prince Turki Al-Faisal, President of the Board of Directors of King Faisal Center for Research and Islamic Studies, a number of Bahraini ministers and senior officials, deputies, members of diplomatic corps accredited to Bahrain and media representatives. After having unveiled a curtain on which a main road in Bahrain was named after late Prince Saud Al-Faisal, the Crown Prince gave an account on the great deeds and noble positions of Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz towards the Kingdom of Bahrain and its people. He said the Bahrainis would continue to remember Prince Saud Al-Faisal forever. By this, Bahrain would like to pay tribute to the deceased courage in defending it over 40 years of distinguished and unprecedented diplomacy, the Prime Minister said. He also paid tribute to Saudi Arabia's positions, led by the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, in support of Bahrain, confirming that such positions have permanently reflected the ties of close fraternity and joint destiny shared by the two countries over history. He recalled the noble positions of the Kingdom in support of Bahrain and defense of its case at different platforms, noting the appreciation of the leadership and people of the Kingdom of Bahrain for the genuine positions of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
