Hafr Al-Baten, Jumada I 02, 1437, February 11, 2016, SPA -- The Ministry of Interior said in a statement issued today that Wesam Abdulredha Hassan Al-Mahsanawi - Iraqi national - was executed in Hafr Al-Baten governorate in the Eastern Region today for killing Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Saeed Al-Ameri - Emirati national - by firing on him from a machine gun and stealing his car. The Ministry said that the General Court convicted the murderer; the sentence was endorsed by the Appeal and Supreme Courts; and a royal order was issued to execute the sentence. The Ministry of Interior affirms that the Government of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud is keen on maintaining of security, establishment of justice and implementation of the rulings of Allah Almighty against anyone who attacks the secured people and sheds their blood; and it warns anyone who tries to commit such actions that he or she will be punished according to Sharia. --SPA 13:25 LOCAL TIME 10:25 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
