Mohammed Samir says the military has pursued and killed two "terrorist elements" and injured another in northern Sinai, AP reported. The military spokesman says in a Sunday statement on his official Facebook page that security forces chased two militants as they fled on a motorcycle, killing one and injuring another in the provincial capital of el-Arish.
