Khartoum, Dhu-Al-Hijjah 04, 1438 H., August 26, 2017, SPA -- Sudan's Vice President General Bakri Hasan Saleh met here today with China's Vice President of the State's Council Chang Gao Li, who leads a powerful delegation on a state visit to the Arab African country. In remarks following the meeting, Saleh said signing the strategic partnership arrangement between the two countries refers to an unprecedented phase of contacts between the two continents of Asia and Africa. For his part, the Chinese senior official announced providing Sudan with a new consignment of assistance worth 500 Chinese Yuan and exempting it from 160 million worth of soft loans, thanking the government of Sudan for its support for China's Building the Belt and Silk Road initiative.
