Washington, Rajab 9, 1437, Apr 16, 2016, SPA -- The crisis around embattled Brazilian President Dilma Rousseff has been even worse for the country's resource-dependent economy than the bust in commodities markets and slowing global economy, Brazil's central bank chief says, dpa reported. "At this exact moment, the private-sector behaviour has been mainly driven by developments related to domestic political events, which have outweighed economic factors," Alexandre Tombini, president of the Central Bank of Brazil, said Friday at the spring meetings of the International Monetary Fund in Washington. His statement came ahead of Sunday's possible impeachment vote in the Brazilian Parliament's lower chamber, which could lead to Rousseff's six-month suspension and eventual removal from office over allegations that she concealed the severity of the government's budget deficit during her 2014 re-election campaign. -- SPA 03:06 LOCAL TIME 00:06 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
