Riyadh, Jumada I 15, 1437, February 24, 2016, SPA -- The Saudi Post was unanimously elected at elections recently held in Berne, Switzerland, as member of the steering committee of the Postransfer Group in addition to representatives of Russia and France, two founding members of the group, assigned to supervise the promotion of financial post transfer service at the Universal Post Union (UPU). Also elected as non-founders were representatives of Italy, Morocco, Nigeria, Tunisia and others. The United Arab Emirates, Qatar and Croatia were also elected heads of the products promotion committee, services committee and trade mark marketing committee respectively, designed to collectively work for the development of the group.
