Riyadh, Jumada I 12, 1437, Feb 21, 2016, SPA -- The Consultant at the Royal Court and General Supervisor for Riyadh-based King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Works Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Al-Rabee'a co-signed here today with a senior official of a specialized company a contract to build highly-equipped 300 accommodation units for Yemeni displaced in Djibouti. In a press statement, Al-Rabee'a said the project is part of several programs to be done by the center upon directives of the Custodian of the two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud. He recalled that the center has so far conducted as many as 50 programs aiming to alleviate the sufferings of Yemeni people. He gave an account on the specifications of Djibouti project, saying that it includes air-conditioned residential units equipped with the other necessary facilities including health and educational institutions, and a mosque. He added that the center is keen to meet all the basic requirements for more than 2,000 displaced Yemenis. The company is set to start building next week, he said, adding that the center is also determined to provide homes complying with the tough environment there. For his part, the Director of Local Administration and Chairman of the Yemeni Higher Relief Committee Abdulraqeeb Fat-h recalled that King Salman Center for Relief has distributed food baskets over the displaced in Djibouti, provided potable water, medical clinics and other necessary life needs.
