Munich, Jumada I 4, 1437, Feb 13, 2016, SPA -- France will not take in more than 30,000 refugees, French Prime Minister Manuel Valls said at the Munich Security Conference on Saturday, dpa reported. "France committed itself to taking in 30,000 refugees. We're willing to take in that number, but no more," Valls said. The comments come as German Chancellor Angela Merkel seeks an international solution to the refugee crisis that would involve distributing refugees across the 28-member bloc. EU leaders are due to discuss the migration crisis at a summit in Brussels on Thursday and Friday. "We don't support a constant relocation mechanism," Valls said. Merkel's would distribute a portion of the refugees arriving in Turkey across EU countries. In return, Turkey would help reduce the number of refugees that cross the Aegean Sea illegally to reach EU shores. Other European nations, including Poland and Hungary, have criticized plans to distribute refugees across the continent. -- SPA 21:37 LOCAL TIME 18:37 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
