WASHINGTON, Jumada I 01, 1437, February 10, 2016, SPA -- The United States said Wednesday that it has raised its concerns with the Rwandan government over reports that it is involved in destabilizing activities in Burundi. “We have seen a number of reports from our colleagues in the field that suggest the Rwandan government has been involved in destabilizing activities in Burundi,” U.S. Assistant Secretary for African Affairs Linda Thomas-Greenfield told a congressional hearing. “We have raised these concerns with the Rwandan government and encouraged them to play a productive role and not to do anything that might further destabilize Burundi.” --SPA 11:57 LOCAL TIME 08:57 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
