Saudi Foreign Minister meets a number of US Congress leaders

Washington, Jumada I 01, 1437, February 10, 2016, SPA -- Saudi Minister of Foreign Affairs Adel bin Ahmed Al-Jubeir met with a number of leaders of the United States Congress on 8 and 9 February during his visit to the United States of America. He also made a telephone call to Senator Lindsey Graham, Chairman of Foreign Appropriations Committee. Al-Jubeir met with Senator Bob Corker, Chairman of Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Richard Burr, Chairman of Senate Intelligence Committee; Senator John McCain, Chairman of Senate Armed Services Committee; Senator Ed Markey, Member of Senate Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Dick Durbin, Assistant leader of the Democratic minority in Congress; Congressman Ed Royce, Chairman of House Foreign Relations Committee; Senator Mitch McConnell, Senate majority leader and his Democratic counterpart Eliot Engel; Senator James Risch, Chairman of the Subcommittee on Foreign Relations of Near East, South Asia, Central Asia and Counterterrorism; Senator Jack Reed, Member of Armed Services Committee; and Senator Dan Sullivan, Member of the Armed Services Committee and Member of the Committee on Commerce, Science and Transportation of the Senate. During the meetings, they discussed a number of topics of concern to the two countries, as well as bilateral relations in all fields of joint cooperation.
