Makkah, Rabi'II 19, 1437, January 29, 2016, SPA -- Secretariat General of Makkah-based Muslim World League (MWL) condemned today the terrorist bombings that targeted worshippers while performing Jumaa (Friday noon public prayer) at a mosque in Al-Ahsa governorate and resulted in the killing and wounding of many innocents. In a press release, Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulmohsen Al-Turki, MWL Secretary General, expressed profound sorrow and condolence to the families of the victims on what happened in the mosque, describing that act as part of a criminal plot targeting sedition of the nation, spread of corruption on earth and deviation from the path of Islam. He stated the MWL's firm position in fighting terrorism and its deviating thoughts at regional and international platforms.
