At the external level, and within his concern of Arab causes, the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud headed the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's delegation participating in the meetings of the 26th Arab Summit held in the Egyptian city of Sharm El Sheikh on March 28, 2015. In his speech before the Summit, he reiterated the Kingdom's foreign policy constants, especially the keenness on the fight against terrorism and extremism at local, regional and international levels. He talked about the painful reality experienced by a number of Arab countries, of terrorism, internal conflicts and bloodshed, due to the inevitable result of the alliance between terrorism and sectarianism, ignited by regional powers to which their blatant interventions in the Arab region undermine security and stability in some Arab countries, pointing to Yemen and Syria.
