JAKARTA, Indonesia, Rabi'II 02, 1437, January 12, 2016, SPA -- A strong earthquake struck off North Sulawesi province in central Indonesia, but there were no immediate reports of damage or casualties, according to AP. The U.S. Geological Survey said the magnitude-6.4 quake hit 265 kilometers (165 miles) north-northwest of Indonesian town in North Maluku province, or 233 kilometers (145 miles) southeast of Sarangani in the Philippines, at a depth of 12.9 kilometers (8 miles).
