Kabul, Rabi'I 24, 1437, January 04, 2016, SPA -- Explosions and gunfire were heard on Sunday night near the Indian consulate in the northern Afghan city of Mazar-e-Sharif, dpa reported. "The Indian consulate is not under attack, the attackers are surrounded inside a house within the vicinity of the consulate," said Sher Mohammad Durani, the police spokesman for Balkh province, of which Mazar-e-Sharif is the capital.
