Khartoum confirms keenness on bringing about peace in South Sudan

Khartoum, Rabi'I 23, 1437, January 03, 2016, SPA -- The Sudan and South Sudan confirmed their determination to go ahead with implementing the joint cooperation agreements they previously signed and work together for solving all problems through continuous dialogue and negotiations. Following the talks he had with his South Sudan counterpart Bernaba Benjamin in Khartoum today, Sudan's foreign minister Ibrahim Ghandour said that his country is keen to bringing about peace in its southern neighbor, noting that the visit of Minister Benjamin to The Sudan confirms the depth and firmness of relations binding the two countries and peoples. The two sides agreed on joint work to solve all pending issues between the two countries, he said.
