Moscow, Rabi'I 14, 1437, Dec 25, 2015, SPA -- The president of the former Soviet republic of Georgia on Friday nominated the foreign minister, Giorgi Kvirikashvili, to become a candidate for prime minister. According to dpa, the move came two days after the acting prime minister, Irakli Garibashvili, surprisingly announced that he was tendering his resignation without giving a specific reason.
