Riyadh, Safar 26, 1437, December 08, 2015, SPA -- Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, President of Saudi Commission for Tourism and National Heritage visited yesterday rock paintings sites in Gepha in Hail region to stand on the ground on the most important projects being carried out including the exploration at the sites especially after the Commission has succeeded in recording the rock drawings in Gepha and Al-shwimms on UNESCO World Heritage List as the fourth Saudi site after Madain Saleh, and the two historical sites of Diriyah and Jeddah. In a press statement, Prince Sultan bin Salman bin Abdulaziz said that the visit comes to stand on the ongoing exploration and meet with Saudi British scientific team, working in the exploration of these unique historical sites that have been scientifically proven that some of the rock paintings dated back to more than 10,000 years. --SPA 14:10 LOCAL TIME 11:10 GMT www.spa.gov.sa/w
